Jareducation

What’s really sad is it never got weird enough for me. . . Lazlo and Nixon are both gone now, but I don’t think I’m going to believe that ’til I can gnaw on their skulls with my very own teeth. . . If they’re out there, I’m going to find them, and I’m going to gnaw on their skulls. Because it still hasn’t gotten weird enough for me. - Hunter S. Thompson

Shooting for the New Fillmore

Posted on | November 23, 2008 |

“Are you a freelance photographer?” A woman asked me yesterday as I was taking pictures at the Fillmore Farmer’s Market. I sent Thomas Reynolds, who owns a local art gallery, a few of the pictures I took of the jazz musicians on my street last month and he liked them enough to ask me to take some pictures for his newspaper. He prints the neighborhood paper, The New Fillmore. I offered to help him edit and layout the paper to get some experience and my photos will get published.

Here are my favorites from the day.
